The Eastern Wrestling League Wrestler of the Week for the week ended November 18, 2007, is Bloomsburg University's Matt Moley.  Mr. Moley is a sophomore from Oaks, Pennsylvania.

  On November 15, in the Bloomsburg v University of Pittsburgh dual meet, Moley edged Panther NCAA All-American, Matt Kocher, by a score of 2-1.  Two days later, Moley cruised through the 157-pound field to win the title at the Navy Classic.  In the finals Matt defeated Joel Ahern of the Naval Academy by a final score of 10-3.

  In addition to Matt Moley's championship at the Navy Classic, Bloomsburg senior Mike Sees won the title at 125 pounds, and Huskie sophomore Dennis Bermudez grabbed first place at 149.  These three winners led Bloomsburg to the team title in the 12-team Navy Classic Field.  Bloomsburg tallied 161.5 points, followed by the Naval Academy with 140.0 and Bucknell with 132.0.

  The EWL also tips its headgear to two members of the Cleveland State University wrestling team, who won individual titles this past weekend at the Ashland Open.  The victorious Vikings are Ryan Hurley, who won the title at 149 pounds, and Marcus Effner, who took first place at 165 pounds.  Good job guys!
