West Virginia University's Zac Fryling

The Eastern Wrestling League Wrestler of the Week for the week ended February 11, 2007, is Zac Fryling, a junior from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, who wrestles 157 for West Virginia University.  This past weekend Mr. Fryling wrestled in two dual meets and racked up two big wins.

  On February 9, West Virginia hosted Ohio University. Although the Mountaineers dropped the meet to the Bobcats, Fryling beat 2006 MAC runnerup, Jake Frerichs, by a score of 6-3.  Then, on February 11, West Virginia traveled to Lock Haven, beat the Bald Eagles 21-11, with Fryling edging nationally ranked (7th by WrestlingReport.com) Seth Martin 2-1.
