The Eastern Wrestling League’s Wrestlers of the Week for the week ended February 23, 2003, are the West Virginia University grapplers, who grabbed the 2003 EWL Dual Meet Title for their school this past weekend with victories over Edinboro (by 19-14) and Cleveland State (25-16). The West Virginia team, under head coach Craig Turnbull, soldiered through the season undefeated in its seven intra-League dual meets.

The Mountaineers’ starting lineup for both matches was: Seth Lisa at 125, Brandon Lauer at 133, Shane Cunanan at 141, Billy Smith at 149, Matt Lebe at 157, Tom McMath at 165, Greg Jones at 174, Ryan Wilman at 184, Adrian Thompson at 197, and Moose Miller at 285. All ten of these guys are champions and we salute them.
