Mitchell Port currently is ranked second in the nation at 141 pounds, and his three wins this past weekend raised his season record to 9-0.  Mr. Port, who is a former PIAA AAA champion, placed second in the 2013 NCAA Tournament and grabbed third place at the 2014 NCAA’s.  His college career won/lost mark now stands at 105-15.

On November 16, 2014, Sean Russell competed in the huge East Stroudsburg Open, and finished runnerup at 125 pounds.  In his first two bouts Russell majored his opponents from Drexel and Navy by scores of 17-7 and 20-7, respectively.  In his third and fourth matches of the day, Mr. Russell racked up tech falls over foes from Delaware Valley (final score 19-3) and West Virginia University (18-3).

In the ESU Open semi finals Russell defeated Billy Watterson of Brown University by a final score of 8-4.  Watterson is a senior, who has placed twice in the EIWA tournament, and qualified for the NCAA’s in 2013.  In the championship finals, Sean Russell dropped a 2-1 decision to Lehigh Div I All-American Darian Cruz, who placed seventh in the 2014 NCAA’s.
